Ep415: The Scum of the Universe

Today, the Kicking the Seat Podcast suits up to take down Men in Black International! Join Ian, Emmanuel Noisette of Eman's Movie Reviews, and Don Shanahan of Every Movie Has a Lesson as they investigate just went wrong with F. Gary Gray's unrequested fourth installment of the once-proud sci-fi/comedy franchise. Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth star as two alien investigators tasked with saving the planet from energy-sucking space monsters and convincing audiences that Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones were not integral to the series' success.

Also, Ian reviews Jim Jarmusch's The Dead Don't Die and recommends Criterion's blu-ray of his debut feature, Night on Earth. Plus, Cole Rush joins Ian for a special "Shout! Out" for Shout! Factory's just-released blu-ray of Sinatra in Palm Springs (and be sure to read Cole's latest piece on The Quill to Live, about discovering 2001: A Space Odyssey)!

Episode 415 wishes desperately for an alien invasion!
